Hi guys,

Our team has been busy this last couple of weeks on the tops and podiums' quality control inspection. Unfortunately, some podiums didn’t pass our quality tests and most of the pieces will be reworked to meet our standards. Aside from this, the tops' runout tests have been running smoothly and our team didn't find any major issues.

How does this impact the fulfillment?

To accelerate the fulfillment we changed our shipping strategy, creating batches based on stock availability. The first batch will be processed in mid-April, fulfilling the orders that only include pieces that successfully passed quality checks.

The second batch will be processed once the rest of the pieces have been reworked and pass the quality checks successfully. We estimated that this would be 3 weeks later, we'll be informing you once the date is confirmed. Remember, as soon as your order is processed, you'll receive a confirmation email with your tracking number.

What happens with orders including podiums?

All the orders with Podiums will be shipped in the second batch. Our team is already working on speeding up the process of reworking and quality inspection for them. Right now, our main priority is to equal the quality between the Tops and the Podiums. We understand this news is disappointing, but, we want to deliver the perfect product that all of you expect.

Hello guys,

As most of you might recall from our last update our production team suspended all their activities all throughout February due to the New Chinese Festivities. They’ll be returning to normal operations in the following days, to complete the quality control inspection. Remember, this is a clue activity in which we make sure every piece you’ll receive looks and spin beautifully. Each piece will undergo a runout test in the handle and external face to make sure it is balanced (you can see in the previous update some videos of how this process is made).

Simultaneously our team will start packing up all the pieces that satisfactory pass all the quality tests. Our main focus is making sure every piece meets our quality standards and that it gets properly secured for transportation. Our team will keep up the hard work so that PARADOX will be delivered to you as perfectly as possible.

Hi everyone,

We are glad to let you know all the tops are finished and currently our team is in the quality control inspection.

Quality control is an essential step in every high-end product. Besides the strict inspection we make in each of the parts that composed PARADOX, we implement an extra examination so we could test the runout of each PARADOX and make sure each piece you receive will spin beautifully.

Spinning depends a lot on the technique. It requires practice to find the needed hand movement and have the desired effect. That's why it was very important to find a way we could measure it time after time.

We worked closely with our suppliers and quality control inspector and after many tests, we found the correct way of measuring this by confirming the alignment of the spinning top.

First we perform a runout test on the lathe machine with a rectified shaft and a dial indicator. This help us confirm all our tools are calibrated corretly.

After that, we insert the tip of the spinning top in the lathe machine and spin the lathe's chuck by hand to get the top's handle runout value in the dial indicator.

Finally we get the ring's external face runout value with the same method.

This is the last step, and we are excited because we are so close to shipping the pieces. Our production team will have to suspend all operations during the month of February because of the Chinese Spring Festival, however, we have finished all the details of the quality control inspection and completed the training of our team, so we are ready to perform the inspection efficiently once they come back to the factory.

We understand you might be disappointed by the delay, but quality is one of our main non-negotiable priorities. We are sure PARADOX will be a high-end product and once you receive it the wait will pay off.

Hi everyone,

First of all, we hope you had a joyous holiday season and our best wishes for this New Year 2021.

As much as our team made the best of efforts, the production of PARADOX had some delays. Especially the packaging, unfortunately the first samples we received weren’t what we expected and we had to make some corrections. Some of you may ask, why packaging is so important? From our previous experience, packaging is as important as the final product. Especially for PARADOX since it is a fragile piece that needs to be secured for transportation. Our design team put a lot of effort to make PARADOX packaging both functional and beautiful.

On the bright side, the issues we encountered have been solved and we are now having a much smoother production process for both the tops and packaging. Our team received a couple days ago the final packaging samples and they look great! We did some drop tests to ensure the tops will be safe during shipping and they were a success.

Starting this year on the right foot, we are thrilled to share some pictures of finished pieces with all of you. They look great!

Our suppliers we'll keep working on finish the production of the remaining pieces and the assembly of each PARADOX. We'll keep you posted on this progress.

On Wednesday 6 of January, we'll be charging cards. If anyone of you wants to include any last-minute add on or change your shipping address, this is the time to do it. If you need help with any change, please let us know.

Our team is already working on planning the fulfillment process and the current estimate date to start the fulfilment of orders is late January. This date might vary depending on when the packaging of PARADOX is ready, for safety reasons we can’t ship the tops without appropriate packaging.  

For those, who were wondering how the add ons production was going, we are glad to let you know that all podiums and spinning bases are looking great. Our suppliers have done an amazing job with all the finishes.
